Elder Wisdom
Elder Wisdom Opportunities
Our Elder Wisdom opportunities equip seniors for transformative presence and meaningful service with others. All opportunities honor social distancing guidelines with most programs online.
Large Group Programs provide learning opportunities and socialization for successful aging.
Small Group Workshops support seniors with the tools for inner work, for life review, and outlining their personal legacy.
Individual Soul Care responds to the desire to pay attention to the inner life and to grow spiritually. Soul Care focuses on growth in inner freedom, deepening one’s capacity to love, healing the past, and drawing closer to one’s true self and to the Divine.
Service Opportunities can be one-time or ongoing commitments and include mentoring, advocacy work, story sharing, responding to the needs of the underprivileged and concern for the environment.
who is an elder?
Elders are wisdom keepers who share ongoing concern for the well-being of society. They live with a sense of commitment to future generations and to safeguarding the health of our planet.
Elders are attentive to their own inner growth using tools such as meditation, journaling and life review. Serving as mentors and fully engaged grandparents, they foster the development of young people. They model forgiveness and work to heal the wounds in our culture.
Elders are still growing, still learning, still have potential and still have an important role in the family and society. By expressing their wisdom in humble service to others they endow their senior years with meaning.
